| It really bugs me that I can only see 15 posts on a page. Normally the user can change the settings for themselves. But this site doesn't let me so I'm stuck with 15. I like to have all the posts conveniently on one page so I don't have to click on things to see more. |

| The server may not allow changes, and 15 seems like a pretty good number... |

Well, this is a pretty much free forum site. The options Michael has and the amount of freedom we as members have are limited by the lack of quality web hosting, so we're just gonna have to live with it.
Or...we could all pay Michael so he can swtich to v-bulliten. |

| You people have no idea... Phpbb (the forum script used on this site) allows you to change the posts you see per page and even allows individual users to pick their own. Almost all forum scripts allow for this change. It's either Michael not giving us that choice or the host (forumwise) not allowing it. We don't need to chip in any money either. www.hostaforumfree.com and www.hitforums.com both use the same forum scripts and allow you to change your post settings. Michael could even get a free web host and install the forum scripts himself. The webhost only needs to allow php and atleast 1 mysql database. Doesn't take much bandwith because it's just text and a few images being shown. VBulletin isn't that great either. We can use invision power board 1.3, mybb, and always the phpbb we use right now. I went out and looked at the settings and Michael can indeed change the setting. http://www.2and2.net/Uploads/Images/looky.JPG is a screen shot of the settings with fancy red circles to direct your attention. |
