Had troubles myself, so I asked my Dad. Here it is.
3c.
cosC = x/b
x = bcosC
Then you substitute that into the equation
c^2 = a^2 + b^2 + 2ax
so...
c^2 = a^2 + b^2 + 2abcosC
Omghax, its the law of cosines! |
